Pressure-plate construction
The difference is in the support.
Three backplate sizes. Two pressure-plate constructions. The construction matters when choosing a setup for launch control.
Motorsport · 184 / 200 / 240 mm
Six legs locate the floaters.
The aftermarket TENACI Motorsport pressure plate uses six support legs to locate the floaters. All nine Motorsport configurations use this construction. The photo is a product reference, not a size-specific rendering.
Engine-cut launch control: TENACI specifies this construction for applications with alternating torque loads. The exact clutch and engine-control setup must still be matched to the application.
Street / Racing · 240 mm
OE-style pressure plate.
TENACI BLACK and SACHS 765 use an OE-style construction with flexible drive straps supporting the pressure plate. Each family is shown with one or two discs. The photo shows TENACI BLACK; SACHS 765 is a separate pressure plate.
Engine-cut launch control: TENACI does not recommend this construction for that use. Alternating torque can damage the drive straps.
