Tenaci Black Series pressure plate – 1500 Nm in 2-disc configuration
The Black Series pressure plate handles 780 Nm with a single
sintered disc – and in this 2-disc configuration, with two sintered discs
doubling the friction surfaces, the system is rated at a massive
1500 Nm. The wear surface is integrated, keeping the assembly
simple, and despite the high clamp load the pedal feel stays manageable thanks
to the efficient diaphragm design.
MIBA sintered 6-puck discs
The kit includes two Tenaci Clutch disc 6-Puck 240 mm – 14 splines for Saab/GM (part no. tm00240022) with genuine MIBA sintered friction pucks –
the same material trusted in professional motorsport worldwide. Sintered metal
handles far higher temperatures than organic material without fading, gives a
consistent, predictable bite lap after lap, and offers a service life several
times longer under hard use. The 6-puck solid (unsprung) design is ideal for
drifting, rally and track driving where precise, direct engagement matters.
Tenaci modular flywheel system
The kit is built on the Tenaci modular flywheel: a CNC-machined chromoly flywheel
paired with a separate, replaceable Tenaci Back Plate that carries the wear surface.
When the friction surface eventually wears after hard seasons, you replace just the
back plate instead of the entire flywheel – faster, cheaper and smarter. The
modular design also means the same clutch package can be moved between engine
platforms by swapping the flywheel, and it supports Tenaci Black, Sachs 765 and
Tenaci Twin pressure plates – a clear upgrade path as your power grows.
The included adapter plate converts the setup to a 2-disc stack, nearly doubling
the torque capacity without increasing the clutch diameter.
