If you want to drive with this axle in a Volvo 240, you have to cut the axle 50mm.
If you have a shortened original shaft, it is perfectly possible to cut the shaft to any length.
Because this shaft has 200 mm splines.

40 Crmo chromoly steel
Bolt pattern :
5X108MM Volvo
5X120MM Bmw (As well as small GM)
Should not be used with welded diff brake. In that no drive shaft survives this.
