The TENACI Motorsport Series is engineered by TENACI Motorsport for drivers who demand premium racing clutch systems, reliable performance, low rotating mass and precise clutch control.
Unlike many conventional racing clutches with aggressive ON/OFF engagement, TENACI uses premium MIBA friction material to provide smoother, more progressive clutch engagement.
Whether manoeuvring through the paddock, driving in the pits or loading your race car onto a trailer, TENACI provides improved clutch control while maintaining the performance required for serious motorsport applications.
Premium MIBA Friction Technology
One of the most important features of TENACI racing clutches is the quality of the friction material.
Our racing clutch discs feature 35 mm wide MIBA friction pucks, using premium friction technology of the same type found in established motorsport clutch systems from manufacturers such as Sachs, Helix, AP Racing and Alcon.
All TENACI Motorsport Series 184 mm clutch discs have a thickness of 7.2 mm, with 6-puck friction discs recommended for controlled engagement and effective heat management.

TENACI 3-Step-Down Backplate System – Extended Clutch Life
Three Operating Positions – Two Additional Wear Adjustments.
All TENACI Motorsport Series 184 mm clutch kits feature our innovative 3-Step-Down Backplate System, engineered by TENACI Motorsport to extend the usable service life of racing clutch discs.
The system provides three operating positions. As the friction discs wear, the clutch cover can be rotated to the next step-down position to compensate for wear and help maintain the correct clutch operating geometry.
How the System Works:
- Position 1 – New Clutch: Initial operating position with new friction discs.
- Position 2 – First Adjustment: Rotate the clutch cover to the second position as the friction discs wear.
- Position 3 – Second Adjustment: Rotate the clutch cover to the final position as the friction discs wear further.

TENACI Modular Flywheel System
The TENACI Motorsport Series features our modular flywheel concept, developed for flexibility, durability and easier maintenance.
Instead of replacing the complete flywheel assembly when changing clutch configurations, the modular system allows compatible clutch covers and components to be combined with the same flywheel platform.

Standard 7.25″ Motorsport Bolt Pattern
TENACI 184 mm racing clutches use the widely adopted 7.25″ motorsport clutch mounting bolt pattern.
This mounting pattern is also found on selected racing clutch systems from:
Tilton, AP Racing, Helix, Quarter Master, Sachs and Alcon.
This provides flexibility for motorsport applications using the established 7.25″ racing clutch format.
Please note that identical mounting patterns do not automatically guarantee component compatibility. Installation height, disc thickness and release requirements must always be verified.
